We’re the Turtle Owner team! We created TurtleOwner.com as a way to share everything we know and learn about turtles.
Our team is formed by 6 core members, each one with more than 10 years each of experiences with pet turtles. One of our core members is also a biologist, he is usually the one that provides most of the scientific data in our articles.

Hello, My name is Cameron and I am one of the founding members of Turtle Owner. I am also a the proud owner of 4 turtles, as well as biological sciences student at Oxford Brookes University.
Hello, I am Cecelia, I am a huge animal lover, so much so that I decided to become a veterinary, and at the moment I am studying at Université de Montréal. I am also the proud owner of one dog, 2 turtles and 24 fishes.
My name is John Rivera and I the editor of Turtle Owner. My job is to make sure that every article you read is understandable and correct. And like every member of the team I am a huge fan of turtles.
Ciao from Italy, I am Maurizio Giordano, and I have been a proud turtle owner since I was 4 years old. I’ve became a member of the turtle owner team hoping that my 26 years of experience with turtles will be of some help to turtle owners all around the world.
Hello, I am Victor, and I have a turtle pond that is the home of 6 turtles and 2 tortoises. I’ve been a turtle and tortoise owner for 10 years, during which I gained a lot of experience and information, and now I want to share them with everybody that is curious or it’s looking for help.
Hello, I am Phyllis, and I have 20 years of experience in working with animals at the zoo, and I am also the owner of 4 tortoises and one little cute turtle. And I want to share my experience with everybody that is in need.
Besides the 6 core members, our team is also formed by countless turtle owners that want to share their knowledge about turtles.
